Azi Mohammadian (She/Her/Hers),
Director of Clinical Services

Azi is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UBC and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Adler University.  She has been a counsellor for eight years and been in the mental health field for fourteen years and has previously worked as a Crisis Counsellor, Mental Health support worker, and Special Needs Teacher.

Sae Angelia Aizawa (She/Her/Hers),
Registered Clinical Counsellor

Sae Angelia graduated from University of British Columbia with a Bachelors of psychology degree. After searching for her career path, she decided she wanted to pursue becoming a registered clinical counsellor and earned her Masters from City University of Seattle. Sae is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and has a strong passion towards helping others. She has done several volunteering that involves supporting individuals in need of mental health support, and comes from a background of working in the mental health field for 4 years.
Sae Angelia works with her clients using modalities including ACT, CBT, Trauma-informed Therapy, Mindfulness and Somatic related therapies. She is working towards becoming certified in EMDR and other somatic related therapy modules.

Suki Khangura (She/Her/Hers),
Canadian Certified Counsellor

Suki is a Canadian Certified Counsellor and holds a Bachelors degree in Health Science from SFU and a Master’s from Yorkville University in Counselling Psychology. She has worked in the mental health field for 9 years in roles such as mental health support worker and life skill facilitator. She has been working as a concurrent disorders counsellor and has 5 years experience in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver. This shaped her knowledge in systemic oppression, substance use, and cultivated passion for working with individuals from all walks of life. Suki is trained in ACT, CBT, mindfulness, EMDR and roots her work in trauma informed practices. Her areas of focus include anxiety, depression, substance use, anger, self esteem, life transitions, work & career transitions, and trauma.

Summy Pajouh (She/Her/Hers),
Registered Clinical Counsellor

Summy is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and a Professional Art Therapist who graduated with a Master of Counselling Psychology: Art Therapy from Adler University. Summy has experience providing individual and couple/relationship psychotherapy services and group art therapy for adults of all ages. She also has experience working with children and adolescents using art therapy interventions and assessments. Summy’s own lived experience has given her a deep understanding of the systemic and relational challenges we often face and the importance of connecting with our inner strengths. As an immigrant, she also experienced the pain of separation from her family and friends and the challenges of adjusting to a new country. She deeply understands the importance of self-compassion, empowerment, relational support, and the resilience that arises from vulnerability.

Olivia Assuncao

Joss Martinez (She/Her/Hers ),
student counsellor

Joss is a student counsellor pursuing a master’s degree in counselling psychology from Yorkville university. She has been working in the mental health and social services field for the past four years as a Family Support Specialist helping individuals to achieve balance in different areas of their lives. She believes that everybody has the capacity to heal, but many of us don’t know how. Her goal is to create a welcoming, safe space for individuals to bring their burdens and to provide an opportunity to explore paths forward. She believes that every individual is an expert in their own life, and it is with this foundation that she works collaboratively with her clients to move towards healing and empowerment.

Hayden Johnston (He/Him/His),
Registered Clinical Counsellor

Hayden is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and he holds a Masters of Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University. Hayden has been counselling for the past 7 years and has a variety of experience working in residential treatment, high school, non-profit, and First Nation settings. Through his education and experience, Hayden has developed a humble wisdom that he brings to his work, meeting individuals where they are in life and supportively walking alongside of them in their journeys of self-discovery and personal growth. Hayden’s approach is person-centred and he is versed in DBT, CBT, Meaning Therapy, and other modalities. His focus areas are anxiety, addiction, depression, trauma/PTSD, life transitions, mens issues, and relationships/attachment.
