Sae Angelia graduated from University of British Columbia with a Bachelors of psychology degree. After searching for her career path, she decided she wanted to pursue becoming a registered clinical counsellor and earned her Masters from City University of Seattle. Sae is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and has a strong passion towards helping others. She has done several volunteering that involves supporting individuals in need of mental health support, and comes from a background of working in the mental health field for 4 years.

Sae Angelia works with her clients using modalities including ACT, CBT, Trauma-informed Therapy, Mindfulness and Somatic related therapies. She is working towards becoming certified in EMDR and other somatic related therapy modules.

Sae Angelia always has had a genuine passion towards wanting to make a difference in people’s lives. Sae Angelia’s continuous care and genuinity is something that you can notice when you are working with her.
She also guides her practice through listening and staying curious about her client’s background and story.
She practices using different modalities which is also called integrative approach and collaboratively finds what works best for the client. Sae Angelia continues to look for ways to empower clients and find ways that they feel heard and witnessed.
She likes to create a space that is safe for her clients and that is focused on a culturally sensitive space.
She also believes that therapy helps for keeping our life aligned and continues to see a therapist to ensure her self care needs are met. As a result, Sae Angelia is able to show up for clients in a way that shows compassion and care.
She continues to stay curious and engaged in current therapeutic practices so that she can continue to gain knowledge and support clients.

Sae is trained in a variety of modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT with a person-centered and culturally sensitive approach. She has completed numerous ACT trainings including a focus on trauma, as well as training in Practical Intervention Strategies for Depression (CTRI). She is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (PESI) with additional certification in Trauma Informed Practice (Level 1).
